Estrogen-induced expression of mouse lactate dehydrogenase-A gene

1989 Study Abstract

The synthesis of lactate dehydrogenase-A isoenzyme was shown to increase significantly in the uterus of immature mice treated by diethylstilbestrol.

The expression of the mouse LDH-A promoter and cat fusion gene in Chinese hamster ovary cells was also induced by 17 beta-estradiol and diethylstilbestrol.
